Adjunctive External Ultrasound Guidance for Crossing a Complex CTO with the CROSSER® Catheter
This case highlights the use of fluroscopy with adjunctive external ultrasound guidance of the CROSSER® CTO Recanalization Catheter through a long segment CTO beginning at the proximal SFA. The CROSSER® Catheter is able to traverse the 300 mm complex lesion. Under a combination of fluoroscopy and ultrasound guidance, Dr. Mustapha is able to visualize the CROSSER® Catheter pass intraluminally via atherectomy past the distal CTO cap.
